Endorsements and Recommendations
The KCDP engages in a specific process in order to "endorse" a candidate. Because this year's races are nominally non-partisan, some candidates understandably declined to seek a formal endorsement. Nevertheless, we do include recommendations for some offices whose candidates declined to seek our endorsement. Most offices ended up with only one candidate. The lack of an endorsement or recommendation by the KCDP does not imply we do not favor such candidates.
